Canoeing

All basic canoeing sessions take place on a shallow sea water lake (maximum 1.5m deep) approximately 12.5 acres in size. Introduction lessons include basic canoe safety and skills followed by a lively action packed fun session. Maximum of 14 persons in group. Sessions of approximately 3 hours.   

Cost £60 for 1 person then £6 per additional person upto 14 persons.

Paddlepower club for children based on Mooragh Park Lake £5 per session every friday evening throughout the summer.

Adult 1-4 star training and assessment £10 per head every Friday evening throughout the summer.

Sailing

Takes place on a shallow sea water lake. Full instruction provided. All participants wear approved buoyancy aids. Session lasts 2 - 3 hours depending on numbers in group. 

Cost £50 for one person the £4 per person up to 8 persons. 

Sailing Tuition

Adults every Saturday from May to September.

£ 20 per hour per person Training to RYA certification if required. Adult sessions based in Ramsey bay or Mooragh park Lake depending upon weather.

Children every Sunday throughout the summer

£ 15 per hour
All children s sessions are based on Mooragh Park lake

Power Boating

RYA Qualified instructors a give basic tuition before letting you take the helm.

Price per boat £75 per 2 hour session.

Maximum 3 persons to a boat. Maximum of 2 boats.

Sea Kayak Session

To Sea Kayaking Sessions every Sunday throughout the year subject to weather conditions

£15 per person per session approx 1 hour.

At other times £60 for the first person and £6 per head for addittional persons to a maximum of 8 persons in a group. 

All instructors hold appropriate BCU coaching qualifications.

Swiming Pool Kayak Training (Ramsey Pool) children and adults

Ideal for learning capsize drills and rescue training Friday evenings 16/11, 23/11, 30/11, 7/12/07

Sea Kayak Expedition

An introduction to journeying around the Island's coastline using double sea kayaks accompanied by qualified instructors. Includes overnight camp or bivvi, food not included.

£30 each, maximum 8 persons, 24 hour period. Minimum charge £200

Ultimate Adventure Day

For groups of children
age 9 - 16 years.
11:00 am to 4:30 pm. 

Make sure you're on target with a session in our indoor air rifle range, try and shoot better than Robin Hood in an archery tournament and beat the record around our command style assault course. Then, after lunch can you and your team build your own raft and race it to victory across our lake? 

Includes air rifle, archery, assault course, light lunch and raft building. 

Cost £18 per person Minimum charge £180.

Adventure Days available for individual children throughout school holiday periods 9.00 - 5.00 Cost £25 per person.

Gorge walking

This unique activity has proved extremely popular with our clients. It involves climbing up a river negotiating obstacles such as ponds, waterfalls etc. Wetsuits and all safety equipment are provided.

Bring some lose fitting old tracksuit bottoms to wear over your wetsuit and swimming costume or shorts and T shirt to wear under.

Session lasts approx 2 hours approx 1 hour of which is in the water time.

Cost £60 for one person then £6 per head for each additional person in the group up to a maximum of 12 persons.

Half Day - Afternoon or Evening

3 hour session including air rifle shooting, archery and assault course.

£17 per adult
Minimum charge £100.

Abseiling

A short introductory session based at The Venture Centre followed by an abseil down the awesome 100 foot sea cliff at Maughold Head if you feel up to it.

Cost £70 for the first person then £7 per head per additional person. Maximum group size 12 person

For the less adventurous a session based just at the Venture Centre on our on site abseiling facilities

£ 50 for the first person then £5 per head per additional person. Maximum group size 12 persons

Climbing

Introduction to rock climbing using the Centre's climbing wall and progressing to local climbs . 
Includes use of harnesses, ropes, helmets etc and instructor/s. 
Session approximately 2 hours. 

Cost £50 for 1 person then £5 per person up to a maximum of 6 persons.

Air Rifle Shooting

Full safety instruction and strict range supervision provided. 
Sessions usually involve target shooting and novelty competitions. 
Maximum 12 persons. 

1 hour session for up to 10 persons £45.
Extra persons £4.50 per head up to a maximum group size of 12 persons

Raft Building

Includes instructor, buoyancy aids and all equipment. Based on a shallow sea water lake. A good activity for a group of up to 20 persons. 

Cost £60 per session 

Target Archery

Full instruction and supervision by our staff. All sessions follow G.N.A.S safety guidelines. 
Maximum 12 persons.

Assault Course

Use of Centre's assault course and zip line. including instruction and supervision by Centre's staff.

Field Archery

Our small woodland field archery course provides an ideal introduction to this sport.
